We believe the Bible clearly teaches us that baptism is the first step of obedience after salvation in Jesus Christ.

In Scripture, we see that people were:

         1. Baptized after they made a decision to follow Christ.

                   Mark 1:9; Matthew 28:19-20; Acts 18:8; 1 John 2:3

         2. Baptized by immersion to symbolize the death, burial and resurrection of Christ.

                   Matthew 3:16; Acts 8:38-39
